At Movespot, our work is rooted in one belief. Confidence grows when women and girls feel seen, supported, and connected. Through our partnership with the Aerie Real Foundation, that belief has been brought to life across underserved communities in Atlanta and beyond.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly one in three adolescent girls report persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness. This reality highlights the urgent need for spaces that support mental well being, confidence, and belonging. Together with the Aerie Real Foundation, Movespot expanded its Community Connection and Confidence Initiative, serving women and girls ages 12 to 30 through inclusive wellness activities, leadership conversations, and community centered experiences designed to foster connection and self worth.
A key focus of this work has been meeting women where they are, both emotionally and physically. In partnership with Hungry AF, Movespot supported women experiencing housing insecurity by providing meals alongside care, conversation, and human connection. These moments reinforced that confidence building begins with dignity, compassion, and being truly seen.
In addition to in person engagement, this partnership amplified women’s voices through storytelling. Movespot recorded a women focused podcast series featuring women entrepreneurs, capturing stories of resilience, leadership, and self belief. These podcast episodes will be distributed to schools and youth serving organizations, allowing young women to learn from real experiences and extending the initiative’s educational reach beyond direct participants.
As we continue our partnership with the Aerie Real Foundation, Movespot is planning an additional women’s wellness workshop focused on mental health, self care, and confidence building. This next phase will further deepen impact and expand access to supportive and affirming spaces for women and girls.
